Beginner Hockey Skills Program

New Format:
Hockey skating lessons will follow the USA HOCKEY Skating program. This Program is structured to teach proper  balance, skating strides and edges for forward and backward skating and be included in our Bumper Hockey Program

Bumper Hockey Program will follow the USA Hockey Association Bumper Hockey Program.

How It Works:


     Beginner Hockey and USA Hockey Association Bumper Hockey Program will be offered on Wednesday late afternoons from 4:35 pm to 5:35 pm. This session will be broken down into 3 separate skill sets. Skill set one will concentrate on skating. Skill set two will concentrate on stick handling and puck control. Skill set three will be an organized scrimmage, where the students will learn game situations. Depending on skill and age groups the rink will be divided into separate areas. This will also be a 7 week session with starting dates of:

Summer Session starts Wednesday July 9th, 2008

Cost:    $150.00 per seven week session

Minimum Equipment Required:
Hockey skates, USA Hockey approved helmet with face mask, hockey gloves, elbow pads, shin pads and stick.

Ages:
5 and over. If attendance is big enough groups will be divided by age.
