TOTAL PERFORMANCE  SUMMER 2008

TACTICAL DEFENSE MINI CAMP

THIS MINI CAMPS will run over a five (5) day period and is open to advanced players at the Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam age levels, playing High School, In House and Travel hockey.

Conducted By: Wayne Evans and John Craig assisted by Various Coaches and Players

Coach Evans is the Director of Hockey for Face Off Circle, the Bucks County Generals and Falcons. He is also the Ace Coordinator for the Glaciers Ice Hockey Club and was the Assistant Director of Girls and Women player development for the Atlantic District of USA Hockey. He has been sub- contacted by various summer camp organizations to be a main group instructor and has coached and has been a hockey instructor for over 25 years in the Delaware Valley at the Junior, Keystone State Games, Tier II, High School, College and Adult levels and is a USA Hockey Certified Master Level Coach.

Coach Craig is the On Ice Director of Hockey for the Glaciers and has coached and has been a hockey instructor for over 25 years in the Delaware Valley at the Junior, Keystone State Games and Tier II levels.

DEFENSE CLINIC FOCUS: Playing Within The New Rules, Gap Control, Steering, Angling, Stick and Body Checking, When to and When Not to Body Check, What Check to Use (Situation Checking) and Defensive Positional Play (Reading the play; Knowing your options)

ADDITIONAL FOCUS ON Skating, Escapes, Passing, Receiving and Shooting.

Each Mini Camp session will consist of One Hour & 15 minutes of Instructions and Drills followed with a 15 minute controlled scrimmage at the end of each session.

Camp will be closed at 26 players per age level

Monday 7/28/08 through Friday  8/1/08

Times:

(10 yrs old and Under)           5:45 PM   to    7:15 PM

            (11 yrs old and Older)             7:30 PM   to     9:00 PM

$150.00 Full Week.    $30.00 Walk-On
